Dr. Annette Sysel was selected as 1 of 5 finalists for the 2015 American Humane Association Hero Veterinarian award. The 5 finalists were selected from over 700 nominees across the country by a panel of  judges.

​On September 20th, 2015, at a red-carpet gala in Beverly Hills, California. Dr. Annette Sysel was recognized as the recipient of the 2015 Hero Veterinarian Award from the American Humane Association.
